Mike Baggetta and Joe Galliani met in Southern California in 1990 when the two freelance talents were brought together to work on a graphic novel.

The project never took off, but Baggetta, an art director, and Galliani, a writer/creative director, quickly developed a friendship based on a love for tennis and their passion for the National Parks. A mutual drive to give something back and long histories of volunteerism further strengthened their bond. No one who knows them is surprised that they financed The Parks Company personally or that they have accepted responsibility to raise the funds needed to repair and restore America's National Parks.
