MONTANA GRIZZLY
UPDATE

Yellowstone Net News) Montana Fish, Wildlife and Parks
is continuing to hold "Roundtable" discussions
about strategies for Grizzly Bear Management. Some key
issues being addressed include human safety, habitat
issues, enforcement concerns, funding issues, future
distribution of grizzlies, population monitoring and
hunting of grizzlies.
The public meetings are
allowing the public to have input on the above issues,
as well as to raise any new issues. The remaining
meetings are being held from 7 to 9 p.m. at the
following dates and places:
September 25 -- Dillon,
Search and Rescue Building
September 26 -- Ennis, High School Library
September 27 -- Butte, War Bonnet Inn
September 28 -- West Yellowstone, Holiday Inn
October 2 -- Billings, Radisson Northern Hotel
October 3 -- Columbus, Apple Village Restaurant
October 11 -- Gardiner, Comfort Inn
October 12 -- Red Lodge, High School
